Onyinyechukwu Okoh, a young African woman, born in Nigeria’s Garden City, Port-Harcourt is the Chief Executive Officer and Creative Curator at O’lavanda Signature.

How it all started….

I learnt to dream big as a child. One of my big dreams was to create exciting experiences for people.

I grew up cherishing my experiences and the sweet memories that life had gifted me. I wanted to not only make a difference in the lives of people but do it in a way that was more exciting.

In 2016, whilst working for a Food and Beverage Company, I coincidentally stumbled into an opportunity in the process of solving a challenge the company had. On the verge of all of this, I got my first order to do a gift hamper for kids on Children’s day which also included the company products. This was the beginning of my journey to finding my own path and truly creating a business that not only represents who I am but also defines my aspiration in life, to help create awesome experiences for people that last a life time.

In February 2017, months after thinking and deliberating on a business to start, it wasn’t long that I realized that somehow I had found my own path. Armed with my business experience, exceptional organisational skill, great network, a vision for creating an online gift boutique and building a prolific business; I took the bold step to starting the first experience gift company in Nigeria, O’lavanda Signature; changing the world of gift-giving right here in Africa.
